Large parts of the world devolve into black and blue clothing alone when cold weather hits (see: Korea). Fall and winter, however, can actually be an excuse to break out the color, and what better time to do that than when the skies are gray? This girl is rocking the bright yellow jacket, green hoodie, and faded blue jeans, all from J Crew.
Fashion notes: one yellow article of clothing should almost never be paired with another yellow article, as they will wash each other; this girl avoids that by pairing the yellow with light shades of green and blue which offset the brightness of the yellow perfectly. One good thing about wearing vivid colors, however, is that it gives you an excuse to wear vividly colored accessories (scarves, hats, etc). The red gloves give a great finishing touch to a cheery and stylish winter look.
P.S. Am I crazy, or does this model look the spitting image of Anna Torv?
