Lightbulb Sculpture in Madison Square Garden

| October 29, 2010

50-foot wide sculpture made up of 1,600 lightbulbs, creating an illusion of shadows crossing it….absolutely breathtaking. A Display of Mackerel

They lie in parallel rows, on ice, head to tail, each a foot of luminosity barred with black bands, which divide the scales’ radiant sections like seams of lead in a Tiffany window. “Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.” -C.S. Lewis
